OWWR is open for the summer. All radio station staff members are encouraged to use the facilities and even broadcast live with the permission of station manager Joe Manfredi. Contact station manager Joe Manfredi or Andrew Mattson for more information.
To access the station your name must be on the OWWR student access list kept at University Police in the Academic Village. If you would like your name added to this list send an email to Joe Manfredi or radio@oldwestbury.edu
To borrow a radio swipe card you will need to present your student ID card to University Police in Academic Village. If your name is on the access list they will lend you a card and tell you the code you need to use the card. Remember to return the card as soon as you leave the station.
The station is accessible as long as the Student Union Building is open:
Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 8:00 pm
Saturday & Sunday 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Station Manager Joe Manfredi will be at the station teaching Radio Production I for the month of June (M-Th. 11:45am-2:15pm.)
