¡Mario Vargas-Llosa!
On April 7, Dr. Esther Gomez-Nieto and the the Hispanic and Latino Cultural Center brought Mario Vargas-Llosa to Old Westbury.
The world famous Peruvian novelist, playwright and political figure gave the opening address for "Requiem for Trujillo" a conference celebrating Vargas-Llosa's La Fiesta del Chivo.
Vargas-Llosa's memories of the Trujillo era and the writing of La Fiesta del Chivo were recorded for webcast on Old Westbury Radio
